iFuture 17 – Future Engineers Project was held on 15 July 2017 in LT-J, HKUST this year. The event was co-organized by six engineering-related institutions including IET, ICE, ASHRAE, IMechE, AES and HKIE. 130 secondary school students were led by 12 HKUST engineering students to accomplish a series of engineering tasks. This was really good opportunity to challenge our secondary school students to think logically and analytically through a day of seminars, games, and a problem solving workshop with technical means and solutions. This program stimulated the “future engineers” to appreciate the Engineer’s role in society and explore their potential.
