People have been using boats as a method of transportation since pre-historic times. Nowadays, boats are generally run by using electric motors. We would like to invite you to participate in “The secret behind a moving electric boat online workshop” co-organized by the Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers, HKUST and Institution of Engineering and Technology Hong Kong (IET Hong Kong). In this workshop, participants will learn how to build a working motor boat powered by batteries. Furthermore, the scientific and engineering principles to make such a boat run will also be covered.
