Electronic circuit is one of the most important elements in the world of science and technology. Skill to construct electronic circuits can be introduced in primary and secondary schools. There have been efforts to introduce electronic circuit concepts as part of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education to pre-university students. The Electronic Design Contest is aimed as recognizing primary and secondary school students who have developed their interest and skill in constructing electronic circuits.
We would like to invite you to participate in Electronic Circuit Construction Challenge 2026 which is organized by the Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers, HKUST and co-organized by the IEEE Electron Devices Society. The programme details are as below:
Application Period: 9 Feb 2026 - 4 Mar 2026
Training Workshops: 21 Mar 2025 (Sat)
Competition and Award Ceremony: 9 May 2025 (Sat)

Primary 4 - 6 (Junior division)
Secondary 1 - 3 (Senior division)
Registration fee: $300 per participant (will be collected after the application has been confirmed)
