The first IEEE Electronic Endeavor Match was held on 22nd April 2017 at HK Science Park. We are pleased to co-organize with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). The theme of the competition this year is circuit construction, students will compete to construct the circuit board based on the given circuit diagram in the shortest time. The first person who demonstrates a working circuit will be the winner! Read more

To stimulate students’ interest in ICT, the Government has commissioned the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education (HKACE) to organize IT Exploration Tours for secondary students during the International IT Fest 2017.  Read more

Queen’s College and their two overseas partner schools, Melbourne High School, Australia and Ulsan Meister High School, Korea visited HKUST campus on 7th April. A group of 60 students, together with about 10 teachers, assistant principal and principal from three schools enjoyed a half day STEM program organized by the Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers. The 2016-2017 Hong Kong Regional Semi-Final of the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) was held on 11 and 12 March in Lecture Theatre L, HKUST. We are pleased to co-organize with Semia Hong Kong for the first time. The ultimate goal of FTC is to reach more young people with a lower-cost, more accessible opportunity to discover the excitement and rewards of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). 香港科技大學鵬程青年工程師學苑(Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers)針對中小學生的STEM暑期計劃,已經進行了多年,每年的工作坊除了常規項目外,都會有些創意項目出現,例如今年首次推出的「會飛的磚塊」工作坊(Bricks can Fly Workshop),在兩小時內學習相關力學知識,跟著導師組裝無人機並試飛。工作坊廣受學生們歡迎,不少學生參與工作坊後認為豐富了自己STEM方面的知識,並十分享受與同伴一起配合組裝並試飛的過程。 Read more
