Queen’s College and their two overseas partner schools, Melbourne High School, Australia and Ulsan Meister High School, Korea visited HKUST campus on 7th April. A group of 60 students, together with about 10 teachers, assistant principal and principal from three schools enjoyed a half day STEM program organized by the Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers. The 2016-2017 Hong Kong Regional Semi-Final of the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) was held on 11 and 12 March in Lecture Theatre L, HKUST. We are pleased to co-organize with Semia Hong Kong for the first time. The ultimate goal of FTC is to reach more young people with a lower-cost, more accessible opportunity to discover the excitement and rewards of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). 香港科技大學鵬程青年工程師學苑（Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers）針對中小學生的STEM暑期計劃，已經進行了多年，每年的工作坊除了常規項目外，都會有些創意項目出現，例如今年首次推出的「會飛的磚塊」工作坊（Bricks can Fly Workshop），在兩小時內學習相關力學知識，跟著導師組裝無人機並試飛。工作坊廣受學生們歡迎，不少學生參與工作坊後認為豐富了自己STEM方面的知識，並十分享受與同伴一起配合組裝並試飛的過程。 Read more
